Preparing for your new arrival

Preparing for a new baby can be an overwhelming and exciting time. As your birth doula, I will work with you and your partner to create a birth plan that reflects your values and preferences. I will also provide you with evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions about your care. Whether you are planning for a hospital birth or a home birth, I will be there to provide continuous support throughout your labor and delivery.

We put together a list of essentials that could help you have an idea of what to get for the big day.

For You

* Two nightgowns open in the front for                    nursing.

​

* Slippers.

​

* Bra for nursing.

​

* Breast pads.

​

* Comfortable underwear. (several number).

​

* Bath towel.

​

* Maternal pads without wings.

​

* Cellphone charger.

​

* Toiletries and personal items like hair                  brush, hair ties, toothbrush and toothpaste,      deodorant, body and face wash.

​

* Lip balm ( the lips get very dry).

​

* Your documents requested by the hospital.

*Clothes for you to go home

For your baby

* Diapers for newborn baby.

​

* Wet wipes without alcohol.

​

* A small nail file ( babies are born sometimes     with long nails). 

​

* Three complete sets of comfortable clothes,      better use cotton. 

 

* Nice cozy baby blanket.

* Some baby caps.

​

* Diaper cream.

​

* Baby hair brush. 

​

* Moisturizing cream for babies.    

​

* Soap for  babies.
